Nigerians have dug up a throwback clip of ace singer, David “Davido” Adeleke sending a birthday message to his counterpart, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid.
The ‘Joro’ crooner is celebrating his 34th birthday today, July 16, 2024 and just as the day broke a video recorded by Davido in 2020 started circulating.
It showed the Omo Baba Olowo singing the happy birthday song while in a private jet, accompanied a friend who also sang along to celebrate Starboy.
Davido referred to Big Wiz as the Greatest of All Time and declared his love for the Grammy winning musician whom he reconciled with some months ago.
The ‘Unavailable’ hit-maker sang: “Happy birthday to you, shout-out to my nixga Wiz, I love you bro. You a legend. You’re the greatest of all time.”
The clip is surfacing few weeks after OBO an Wiz traded words on social media and it left much to be desired by fans as they wondered if the DMW boss will redo the birthday shoutout for his colleague.
