A member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Nana Ansah Obofour, has criticized actress Juliet Ibrahim for describing Ghanaians as “uneducated and superficial minds.”

Juliet Ibrahim, in a post that sought to rally support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBQT +) community, used some harsh words about Ghanaians who oppose the campaign to legalize the group’s activities.

The actress in the post claimed that the majority of Ghanaians are ignorant of the gay and lesbian issue and are just spitting “gibberish” about it.

But in a strong response, the Director of Communications for the UK section of the PNP did not hold back from calling Juliet Ibrahim one of the “so-called desperate celebrities.”

“Dis are the so-called desperate celebrities that people see as role models, imagining wasting her sperm to produce a inhuman daughter …” he tweeted.
