Young Nigerian Doctor Who Hasn’t Been Paid For 3 Months Collapses After 72-Hour Shift

In a recent social media post, how a young Nigerian doctor who has been on shift for the past 72-hours collapsed was revealed.

The tweet was made on Twitter and it was also revealed that this hardworking doctor has been working for three months without being paid.

The doctor is known as Dr. Okorie Ifeanyi Venatus and he is an intern doctor at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, Rivers State.

He and other intern doctors have not been paid since Dec 2020, and although he hasn’t been paid, he has been working as the only House Officer in the unit.
