“You go blow by force after drinking garri for 10 days” – Shallipopi

Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, a budding musician, has confessed that hunger pushed him to make money.

Shallipopi reported that he was once so broke that he drank garri for ten days in a row, at which time he began to think on his life.

The ‘Garri’ singer mentioned this during an interview with Hip Hop artist Odumodublck for a recent episode of the Turntable podcast.

Odumodu enquired about the tragic event that occurred before to his ascent to prominence, which pushed him to achieve achievement by all means required.

Shallipopi answered by stating that after drinking garri for ten days in a row, he realised he needed to work hard to achieve in life.

“Make you just taste garri for like 10 straight days, then you go rethink your life. You go blow by force,” the 23-year-old singer said.
