Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tolanibaj, has claimed that she received death threats from fans of music superstar, Wizkid, for speaking against the shade he threw at Don Jazzy.
Recall that weeks ago, Wizkid shaded Don Jazzy by referring to him as an influencer after Mavin Records artiste, Ladipoe made a tweet alluding to his ‘rap is dead’ comment’.
It led to a heated exchange on social media and some fans as well a celebs like Tolanibaj felt the ‘Joro’ crooner disrespected Don Baba J.
Speaking on the reaction to her stance on the matter during recent episode of the Bahd And Boujee podcast, the reality TV star expressed confusion as to why people were sending her death threats over a harmless statement.
Tolanibaj said; “I received a death threat from Wizkid’s fans after we hosted Nasboi on this podcast. He also received death threats as well.
“It’s just a podcast. What’s the death threat for? People have been doing podcasts in America and elsewhere but they don’t get death threats.”

Nigerian content creator and artiste, Lawal Nasiru better known as Nasboi, has revealed that he received death threat for berating Wizkid when he shaded music producer, Don Jazzy.
CorrectNG reported days ago that Nasboi raised questions about why Wizkid disrespected Don Baba J, especially considering the fact that he used to respect the Mavin Records boss.
Speaking on the reaction his comment got, Nasboi told Tacha on Cool FM’s The Big Friday Show, that someone sent him a message threatening that he will die just like his brother.
The skit-maker wondered whether one is not allowed to have an opinion as a celebrity and if it is a problem when they choose a side between Davido and Wizkid.
He reiterated his position that Wiz was wrong or calling the producer an influencer in a tweet, while responding to a fan.
He said; “It’s like once you’re a celebrity, you do not have an opinion. But you, who is a normal guy on the street, you have an opinion. You can decide to say you love Wizkid over Davido and that’s okay. And me, who’s a normal guy who is a celebrity, shouldn’t have the same privilege?
“Because of what I said on my recent podcast interview. It’s a simple question: Do you think Wizkid offended Don Jazzy with his statement? They asked me a direct question and I think yes. For calling him an influencer, I feel like the context wasn’t okay. I would feel bad. And because of what I said about WizKid, somebody is in my DM saying I will die like my brother.”
