Popular media personality Idowu Adeyemi, also known as Yhemolee urges couples to refrain from checking their partners’ phones in an attempt to monitor them for cheating.
Yhemolee, who recently married his longtime girlfriend, Thayour B, cautioned that going through a partner’s phone could be dangerous.
He stressed that the revelations found on a partner’s phone could lead to emotional distress or even worse consequences.
In a video message shared on his Instagram account, Yhemolee expressed his concerns while sharing a friend’s situation.
“My friend called me this morning and told me his fiancée is in the hospital struggling to breathe.
“I asked if she had any terminal illness and he said no. He said she checked his phone overnight. My point is, stop checking your partner’s phone, if you die, the person that made you lose your life will move on.
“My friend confirmed to me that if his fiancée went through his phone very well, she might not survive and even if she survives, whenever she remembers what she saw, she would be traumatised,” he wrote.
