British Jamaican Hip Hop star, Stephanie Victoria Allen, whose stage name is Stefflon Don, has revealed that she loves Nigerians.

The ‘Hurtin Me’ crooner who dated Nigerian dancehall star, Burna Boy, said what endears her to the country is its music, food and the people.

Stefflon Don disclosed this in an interview with radio host ‘Henrieveill’ when asked what she loved about Nigeria and its culture.

The rapper said: “Ooh, my gosh, there’s so many things, music, food. I like the people, the banter. They are so funny, very vibrant, and very colourful, like everything is in your face. It’s very loud. They remind me of Jamaicans but in a different way.

“I like your [Nigerian] tradition; I feel like, as Jamaicans, we’ve been stripped of that. We’ve just got dancehall, good food and vibes. we are just nice people, but we ain’t really got; the cultural aspect has been taken away from us.”

The Fulham star said Nigerians have unique mannerisms which make them stand out, such that they are loud and can be smelt from afar.

Iwobi replied; “You can smell a Nigerian from a mile away. Our mannerisms are so Nigerian, especially Yoruba people. Yoruba people are so loud.

“My favourite thing about the country is that everyone is so welcoming, rich in hospitality and it’s like one big family. Everyone who is doing well tries to give back to their communities.

“Every footballer that I am with always try to give back to where they come from. That’s an amazing thing. The first thing I do whenever I land in Nigeria and I’m in my hotel room, I order pounded yam and egusi.”
