Job Title: Solution Unit Manager – Security
Location:
 Lagos
Reports Directly To: Divisional Head ,TIG
Supervises: Level 1, Level 2 & Trainee Solution Architects
Purpose

  • The Solution Unit Manager – Data Security has the overall responsibility for selling, driving and providing leadership across the Security solutions team.
  • Provides Security technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstration and proof of concept. Assists the sales team in assessing potential application of company products/ solution to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product/ solution specifications for customer requirements
  • Also responsible for evaluating a business and then realizing its full potential, using such tools as marketing, sales, information management and customer service to ultimately achieve/exceed targeted sales for the entire business unit.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive, Sell, Provide and Ensure complete delivery of business aligned Security solutions by partnering with the other Solution Architects, Sales Organization and Professional Services teams.
  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/ prospect contact towards achieving agreed business alignment
  • Provides advanced technical sales and solution management leadership while ensuring knowledge transfer and skills development amongst entire team
  • Managing, motivating and developing the Level 1 & 2 members of the team
  • Adhere and comply with the division practices as a core around PREPARE, PLAN, DESIGN stages of technology lifecycle and engagement model while partnering with Professional Services team to deepen, harness and maximize IMPLEMENT, OPERATE and OPTIMIZE stages. To ultimately deepen our Systems Integration practice while sustaining and growing the business.
  • Creates and maintains a high performance environment characterized by positive leadership and strong team orientation
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by attending professional development training, workshops, seminars and conferences etc.
  • Direct accountabilities and responsibilities to support ICT Security business
  • Provide Security solutions/technology /product consulting, technical and sales support for all ICT customers/ accounts.
  • Perform in-depth and high level technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
  • Drive the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
  • Actively participate as a security Technical resource in ICT Security business
  • Consult with clients and potential clients to determine their technology requirements and ensure business alignment.
  • Define and seek approval for pricing & products for the applicable solution areas of Infrastructure Solution Division

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Surpass at least 80% of budgeted revenue/gross profit
  • Retention of at least 90% of team members within the financial year.
  • 60% Development of the Unit vis a vis solution areas, certifications, business contracts etc.
  • Delivery of professional services to all customers
  • 90% Customer Retention Rate
  • 80% compliance with internal business processes

Experience and Qualifications

  • Typically a good first degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience with 6+ years in Security Specialization experience with IDS/IPS, AV, Firewall, Advanced Malware Protection technologies.

Certifications:

  • CCNA, CCNP Security and CISSP certified
  • Minimum Checkpoint CISSP Certified
  • An MBA or relevant post graduate degree/professional qualification e.g. CCIE –Security will be an added advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICT business environment and security products and technologies.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth Security knowledge and good understanding of cyber security trends and challenges.
  • Good knowledge in both Network security and content Security Solution.
  • Knowledge in Routing and Switching and Networking platform design is a plus.

Job Title: Data Security Solutions Engineer
Location: 
Lagos
Reports Directly To: Solutions Manager, Data Security Solutions Unit
Purpose

  • Responsible for assigned presales activities from conceptualization, demo, site surveys/assessment, architecting/design, response to bids, bid defence to deal closure around the applicable solution areas to ultimately drive sales for the department

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Characterize Customers requirement & Expectations
  • Prepares and packages assigned proposals/response to bids after proper vetting and supervision.
  • Provides assigned defence/clarification of such bids/proposals as stated above with ultimate goal of generating job orders based on such.
  • Customer Product knowledge briefing/presentations/clarifications
  • Ensures and Maintains regular OEM pricing Database for Components/materials, pricing updates and documentation for commercial bid / quotations preparation.
  • Carries out Site Survey/assessments, Pre-bid meetings attendance and Customer interfacing with aim of Characterizing requirements & expectations of such Customers for all response to bids, tenders and quotations.
  • Carry out Solutions Architecting/Design and packaging- Writing Technical proposals, preparing commercial proposals, and response to bids e.t.c.
  • Ensure deadlines or submission dates for bids/quotations/proposals are strictly complied with
  • Ensures and carries out Proper and simplified documentation of all submitted bids, proposals or quotations.
  • Carries out in-house Product knowledge briefing/presentations/clarifications as the need arises.
  • Consult with clients and potential clients to determine their technology requirements and ensure business alignment
  • Provides secondary resolution support for customer SLA tickets by working with the support team as the need arises and as assigned.
  • Provides secondary implementation/installations/configurations support for project implementations by working with the professional services team as the need arises and as assigned.
  • Adhere and comply with the dept. practices around PREPARE, PLAN, DESIGN stages of technology lifecycle and engagement model with the customer.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the applicable solution area by taking full advantage of huge information contained in OEM websites, attending OEM development trainings, seminars and by reading professional literature in the related technical field
  • Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behaviour.
  • Ensure proper training of team members and knowledge transfer.

Job Title: On Site Network Support Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract
Job Level: Specialist
Time Span: 8 Months
Core Purpose of the Job

  • To Provide day to day Operational and Maintenance Support for Client’s enterprise Data Network based devices.

Key Tasks

  • Proficient with configuration and support of Cisco Firewall Services module, Nexus Switches, Cisco Identity service Engine (ISE)
  • Internet savvy in a production environment with regards to security, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, syslog, and Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
  • Expert in IP routing protocols especially OSPF.
  • An in-depth understanding of TCP/IP, access control lists (ACLs), security, firewalls and network traffic analysis

General Functions

  • Post time implementation/installation support of the supplied Network devices
  • Administration and Support of the installation to ensure continued operation of Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco Next generation Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Routers.
  • Working with the client to ensure optimal operation of our installed base and the entire Network
  • Installation and application of available IOS/Software updates on network devices as the need arises.
  • Provision of reactive/preventive support on data center network devices and appliances
  • Resolution of network downtime at the DR site thus ensuring continuous operations of network devices on-site
  • Provision of routine and daily support services on implemented network devices at the DR site by ensuring optimal performance of network devices

Requirements
Education:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science / B.Sc Electrical Engineering
  • Cisco Certification to Professional Level required
  • CCNP certification highly recommended

Experience:

  • At least 4 years high level support of a large Enterprise Environment, Experience in high level design and support of a large Enterprise Environment, good knowledge in the implementation of network devices & appliances, Relationships with other Cisco players and knowledge of interworking with TAC and other Cisco services
  • Required to be an Engineer who is self-disciplined and motivated, ability to function at both an in depth technical level as well as interface to management and clientsCandidate must be best of breed in this area of expertiseAbility to work across technical areas to gain the best solutions as well as prompt resolutions to failure conditions
