William Troost-Ekong, the captain of the Super Eagles, clinched the Greek Super League title with PAOK Salonica. PAOK secured a 2-1 victory over Aris away on Sunday night, sealing the title.
This triumph marks Troost-Ekong’s first significant achievement at the club level. Additionally, PAOK has now claimed the Greek League title four times.
Troost-Ekong recently made a return to full training following surgery he underwent at the conclusion of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in February. Despite his injury setback, the 30-year-old defender managed to make 10 league appearances for the White and Blacks in the just concluded season.
