There’s money in Nigeria, people lamenting are not hustling well – Portable

Controversial Nigerian musician, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable, has berated those planning to join the upcoming nationwide protest, because he believes ‘there is no need’.

He stated that it is not smart to hit the streets amid the economic hardship as they would have better spent that time hustling hard and networking.

The ‘Zazuu Zeh’ star shared his thoughts in a video posted via his Instagram story on Thursday, as he argued that people who intend to protest are jobless.

He said money can be accessedd in some places in Nigeria and if some people are not able to get their share it is because they do not hustle, have no connections or are not loyal to their heler.

Portable also warned that he has no plans to join or perform at the demonstration, so nobody shouldask him to hit the stage.

He said; “It won’t be well with anyone who tells me to perform during the protest. Don’t you have a producer too? You should also collect the mic and join the protest too.

“Please, I need money, I’m hustling. If you take your job seriously, you won’t join the protest. Don’t fight for Nigeria, fight for yourself.

“Nigeria is okay, you are the one who is not okay. There is money in some places, you are the one who did not hustle or not loyal to your helper.

“You are the one who doesn’t make connections. There are people who can help, there are jobs. You are the one who is not working. Fight for yourself”.
