British-Nigerian rapper, Skepta says budding hip hop artiste, Odumodublvck has exerted some level of influence over him regarding how to act.
The Grime star revealed that the ‘Declan Rice’ crooner influenced him to not taking everything seriously on social media, and just catch cruise – another term for having fun.
Skepta was having an interaction with a fan on microblogging site, Twitter (X) when he talked about the Headies Rookie of The Year’s influece.
The fan wrote: “Big Smoke, you are a big influence on Odumodublvck. What’s the biggest way he’s influenced you?”
Skepta replied: “Odumodu influenced me to catch cruise more. Nothing is serious until it’s serious.”

Popular Nigerian artiste, Shallipopi, has revealed that his colleague, Rema inspired him and other artistes from Edo State to believe in their talents.
The 23-year-old TikTok sensation said Rema was a beacon of hope as they watched his growth, and it motivated them.
Shallipopi said they did not have hope that they will hit fame or succeed until Rema came into the limelight and showed them that it was possible for someone from a humble background can become star.
