“Furthermore, in the track “lyo”, he kinda sampled “Itendo”, a song by Fabomo who’s another popular Edo artiste. The only manageable track off the album is Jungle. No offense.”
Meanwhile, in another news…
CorrectNG recalls that Daniel Regha highlighted the influence of Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi aka Tems on Wizkid’s music career.
He said the ‘Try Me’ crooner is an impressive stage performer when she sings Essence with Wiz, but noted that she seems irrelevant without the song.
According to him, Tems command of the stage whenever they sing Essence is what enabled Wizkid to revive his dying career.
Regha stated this on the heels of the Essence Festival which saw Tems and the Grammy-winning singer reunite on stage after two years.
He said she is an up-and-coming singer with promising career but she needs to step up because there is no hit song to her name.
The Influencer wrote; “Tems only gets attention as a performer when she sings Essence. She’s a promising upcomer, & is also the main reason why Wizkid was able to revive his music career with the MIL album; But asides collabs, she literally has no hit song of her own. Hope she steps it up. No offense.”
