Steve Oliyide, media aide to Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel (Ogun East), has announced funeral arrangements for his father, Pa Amos Ojekunle Oliyide, who passed away peacefully at 84 on July 29, 2024. Pa Oliyide was born on February 18, 1940.
The burial ceremonies, which will also commemorate Steve’s late mother, Mrs. Florence Adebola Oliyide (née Tonade), who passed away on November 20, 1978, have been scheduled as follows:
A wake-keeping service will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the family residence: 14, Olaboopo Daramola Close, Sango Ota, Ogun State.
The funeral service and thanksgiving, combined with a remembrance service for Mrs. Oliyide, will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, at St. Stephen’s African Church, Abule Tuntun, Iroko Town, Lagos, beginning at 10:00 am.
Following a private interment at the family residence, the reception will be hosted at MHQ Events Centre, opposite Rhema Church, Temidire, Sango Ota, Ogun State, from 2:00 pm.
The Oliyide family cordially invites all well-wishers to join in celebrating the lives of both parents.
