Nollywood actress Sarah Martins defends the fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu after a real estate company publicly denied her claims of owning a luxurious house she recently flaunted.
The controversy began when Sophia Momodu, the mother of Afrobeats star Davido‘s daughter, Imade Adeleke, took to Snapchat on Friday, September 20, to give her followers a tour of what she implied was her new home.
However, the celebration was cut short when the real estate company associated with the property released a statement denying that Momodu lied about owning the house.
In response, Sarah Martins took to her social media platforms to criticize the real estate company for handling the situation poorly.
She argued that the firm’s decision to publicly debunk Momodu’s claim was not only unprofessional but also damaging to her reputation.
“Very unprofessional!! What if your so-called client bought it for her? Make una try dey rest,” she wrote.
