Saheed Ibile Accuses Retired AIG of Leading a Conspiracy to Tarnish His Image

Saheed Ibile, a top real estate businessman, and MD of  Harmony Gardens and Estate Development Ltd, whose real name is Hon. Dr. Saheed Mosadoluwa, has vehemently responded to reports alleging his involvement in kidnapping, land grabbing, and other accusations. These allegations, made by individuals he described as “landgrabbers in Nigeria Police uniform” under the alleged instruction of retired AIG Durosinmi, have led to him being declared wanted without formal invitation.

In a video addressing these allegations, Ibile stated: “This morning, I received several calls from journalists informing me of a press conference organized by Taofeek Tijani, who claims to be the OC of the ‘burnt unit’ in Zone 2, and their DC Admin, orchestrated to further their land-grabbing activities with Aare Bashir Fakorede. They aim to hijack my property and tarnish my reputation. The allegations against me are unfounded. I did not kidnap anyone or engage in any of the crimes they accuse me of. This is merely an attempt to disparage me and devalue my company.”

Ibile accused Aare Bashir Fakorede of being the mastermind behind a series of attacks against his business interests, including attempted defamation, physical harm, and even assassination attempts. He explained that Fakorede had been working to destroy his corporate existence and that individuals such as Shakeerah of Whiterose had been recruited to assist in these schemes.

Ibile further alleged that the retired AIG, who remains influential in Zone 2, attempted to extort ₦150 million from him under the guise of resolving issues with the IGP. “I was told I was too stingy and that I didn’t give money like others. I’m an investor, not a land grabber. I will not pay what was demanded, and because of that, they have conspired to tarnish my image,” he declared.

Ibile emphasized his willingness to be investigated, but only by unbiased parties and not by anyone associated with the retired AIG or those he claims have been co-opted into this conspiracy against him. He urged Nigerians to see through the “madness” being propagated online and affirmed his innocence, stating he would address his community directly to clear the air.

“If the investigation is fair, I am very much available. I know they will find ways to manipulate it, but no matter the outcome, one day, they will charge me to court on this issue and face disgrace again as usual,” he concluded.
