Nigerian Hip Hop star, Vector Tha Viper, has expressed disbelief over the claim by Grammy-winning singer, Burna Boy that he has never received monetary gifts from politicians.
Burna Boy had in a tweet on Thursday hinted that the former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike failed to fulfil his promise of land and money.
CorrectNG recalls that after he won the Grammy in 2021, Wike, the current Minister of FCT hosted a homecoming for the singer in Port Harcourt and promised to gift him a plot of land as well as a N10 million.
In his Twitter post, the ‘City Boys’ crooner urged the public to go and inquire from the FCT minister if he gave him any of the gifts.
He wrote: “No politician has ever given anything. Go ask wike where the land him give me or which money him give me. You think I’m your faves.”
In response to Burna Boy’s claim, Vector dropped a quote which read; “Plenty matter no dey full basket.”
