The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle on Friday morning, arrived in Nigeria on a special three-day visit.
Daily Mail reports that the royal couple arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport aboard a British Airways flight around 5am. The flight was said to have been delayed because of sick pilot.
The Duchess of Sussex had flown into Heathrow on Thursday to meet up with her husband at the airport’s VIP Windsor Suite.
Other travellers at the airport were held back while they were escorted off into a waiting blacked out minibus.
Meanwhile, according to the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), part of the order of programmes lined up for the Duke and Duchess includes visiting some wounded Nigerian soldiers.
They have already visited children at the Lights Academy in Abuja, Nigeria, and photos are currently making the rounds online. This is the first time Harry and Meghan are visiting Nigeria together.
