Nigerians have taken to social media to react as famous musicians, Portable and Goya Menor bury the hatchet and see an end to their two-year rift.
The dispute between them began in 2022 when Goya Menor emerged as the winner of the “Best Street-Hop” award at the 15th Headies.
Portable, however, said he deserved the award more than Ameno Amapiano crooner and claimed he had more hits than the Benin-born singer.
The Zeh Nation boss who described Goya as a hype man, asked how many popular songs his colleague released that made the award organisers announce him as the winner.
His comment led to a trading of words on social media with Menor boasting that they are not on the same level given his educational background as someone who almost graduated with first-class honors from university.
However, the duo linked up few days ago after seemingly resolving their differences and decided to hit the studio to record a track.
The product of Portable and Goya Menor’s studio session [song] titled ‘Awiloh’ has now been released with a music video. It may be interesting to note that he also allowed Portable to touch the Headies award plaque during the music shoot.
