Peter Okoye Claims To Be Making More Money Now Than When With His Brother As P-square

Peter Okoye (Mr. P), has claimed that he is making more money now as a solo artist than he did when he was under the P-square group with his brother Paul Okoye.

The singer shared this in an interview with HipTV stating that he no longer has to share his earnings with anyone anymore as everything he makes now is sorely for him. He said, it could be called greed or selfishness, but he enjoys that freedom now.

“I am making more money… I don’t have to share three ways. I share with nobody. Call is greed or selfishness, it’s your own cup of tea. Yes, my management and my team fine, but I am doing my own thing, I’m freer,” he said.

He also stated that he enjoys his freedom now that he is solo and can do his music whichever way and how he wants it adding that, he would cancel a show for his daughter’s birthday, something he couldn’t freely do when he was in the group. “Freedom is key”, he stated.

About how he’s handling his music now, Mr. P said, he is doing it how he feels it, and said though it is not even about the money, “but when it comes to that, I make more than while in the group.”
