Budding Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu professionally known as Odumodublvck, has replied fans who are displeased that he was included in the remix of Styl-Plus’ 2006 classic song ‘Olufunmi’.
Ace music producer, ID Cabasa handled the production of the remix which features Odumodublvck, BOJ, Fireboy and Joeboy.
ID Cabasa noted that everyone loved and sang the song (Olufunmi) irrespective of the language bias in the chorus.
He said; “Another will drop in two weeks, Olufunmi by Styl-Plus, and I have Fireboy, Joeboy, Odumodu Blvck and Boj. Then we also have the voices of Styl Plus.”
The song which was just released this week has already started generating controversy as some are of the opinion that they should have gotten another rapper instead of Odumodu.
One Twitter user, @e_adamm_ wrote; Odumodu was not needed on this song [Olufunmi].
Another user @LoliaHalliday_ tweeted; Who thought it was so smart to put Odumodu on that olufunmi song? If they really wanted someone to rap, maybe Ladipoe?
But the ‘Declan Rice’ crooner who did not seem to be offended by their comments simply quoted their posts and responded with some videos s if to make a jest.
