Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Odumodublvck, has explained why he threw salutations to superstar singer, Davido over his insulting lyrics about media mogul, Dele Momodu.
It may be recalled that on the remix of Humblesmith’s Osinachi in 2016, Davido who had a rift with the Ovation magazine publisher at the time mocked him with the lyrics ‘Mr Dele na my boy, Dele na my boy.’
Remembering the words, Odumodublvck took to his Twitter page on December 11, and stated that it is one of the ‘hardest’ he ever heard.
The ‘Declan Rice’ crooner then referred to OBO as a fool for coming up with such simple yet hard insult on a song.
He wrote; “MR DELE NA MY BOY DELE NA MY BOY IS ONE OF THE HARDEST LYRIC I HAVE EVER HEARDDDDD. @davido YOU BE FOOOOOL 😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😭😭😭😭 SO SIMPLE BUT HARDDD”
But he came under fire for ... because some people thought he was attacking Davido while others accused him of being disrespectful towards Momodu.
In his response, Odumodublvck clarified that he did not mean to disrespect the Ovation Magazine boss as he only talked about the song because the lyrics just came to his mind.
“I DONT EVEN MEAN ANY DISRESPECT TO MR DELE BUT THAT DAVID LYRIC JUST HIT ME NOW 🔥🔥🔥” the rapper added.
