My acting break allowed me to launch company – Emeka Ike

Nollywood veteran, Emeka Ike has stated that taking a break from the movie industry helped him in terms of personal growth and development.

Emeka, who recently made a comeback, said that his absence from the industry gave him the opportunity to build himself more iconic brands.

The 57-year-old actor said he is the owner of Nollywood TV which is broadcasts on Startimes and revealed that he is working on other business concepts.

It may be recalled that the thespian known for ‘Deadly Affair’ went on an unannounced hiatus from Nollywood after his marriage to Suzanne Emma crashed.

Announcing his comeback in a chat with NollyNow, Emeka said; “My absence was not really bad because it gave me room to build more brands apart from Emeka Ike you know.

“I now own Nollywood TV on Startimes and I’m still building other brands that are highly in demand. We are breaking the ice once again. I want to keep entertaining my fans and give them what is expected from me.”
