Anita Okoye, the ex-wife of famous singer, Paul Okoye of the PSquare fame, has asserted that money cannot buy true love, happiness or good health.
The mother of three who recently bagged her MSc, shared a video on Instagram of herself and her children, which she described as good times.
She outlined qualities that one cannot purchase with money while emphasizing the source of one’s greatest wealth is in life.
Anita’s statement comes weeks after her ex-partner, Paul aka Rudeboy married Ivy Ifeoma, in a low-key traditional ceremony in her hometown of Igbere, Abia State.
She wrote; “Money can’t buy true love, inner peace, time, authentic happiness, health, trust, wisdom, respect, fulfillment, or cherished memories. Your greatest wealth is found in the intangible treasures of life!”
Meanwhile, in another news…
Nigerian actress turned content creator, Eva Chris, has opined that true love can only exist when there is money in the equation.
Eva stated this while disclosing that she would never sacrifice her career for whatever reason, including love and marriage.
The skit maker believes that marriage is overrated, and men’s idea of a wife material is a woman who is subjected to complete slavery.
She said; “True love actually exists, but only if there is money involved. For 98 per cent of men, their idea of a proper wife material is complete slavery. To them, a wife material is a woman that can overlook their excesses.”
Eva said the reason she decided to focus more on making skits rather than featuring in movies is because she makes more money.
She said; “Money motivated me to pursue a career in this field (skit-making). There isn’t much money in Nollywood. I was there for two years, and the highest amount I was ever paid was N20,000.”
