CorrectNG reported weeks ago that Shmurda promised to take responsibility for Liam Aloba, the son of his late friend Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.
The Cash App crooner made the pledge in a message sent to Mohbad via his Instagram story, where he noted that he is still struggling to recover from the shock of losing Mohbad.
Bella Shmurda said that ever since the ‘Ko Por Ke’ crooner passed away, he has been drinking and turned to an alcohol!c.
He regretted that his own son, Abiola Imole, whom he named after Mohbad, would grow up not knowing his namesake. The 27-year-old singer, however, promised to maintain the late musician’s legacy as well as take care of his son, Liam.
Sharing a picture of Mohbad with his son, Bella Shmurda wrote: “You told me to stop it [mourning]. [I] have been trying. I just hope you’re okay where you are, cos [I] have not been happy for days. [I] have been drinking and going back and forth on how to move on.
“It’s said [that] Abiola Imole never get to know you. But be rest assured [that] I will tell your story. And I will definitely take care of our fruit [son]. I’m passing all the love to our sons. Lol. Lowkey, I’m Bell and Sons Inc.”
