A Nigerian moi moi seller has gone viral on social media after donning a suit to hawk his wares on the streets of Ilorin due to declining sales.
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), the seller, Ikúpolátì Gideon, expressed his frustration over his low sales and his decision to promote his business more actively.
He wrote, “I have been losing my mind over very low sales. I decided to hawk the streets of Tanke this morning.”
In another post, he introduced himself, stating, “Dear Anon, my name is Ikúpolátì Gideon, and I sell moi moi for a living here in Ilorin, Kwara State. I sincerely need your support for my business. I can feed people on the streets, and I’m here on X. God bless you.”
Shortly after his posts, a video of him hawking his moi moi on the streets of Ilorin emerged online, prompting many users to share their thoughts in the comments.
