An angry mob has reportedly lynched and killed three individuals who were suspected to be bandits.
The incident reportedly occurred in Magamar Jibia town in the Jibia council area of Katsina State and according to a report by the Daily Trust, the lynching incident occurred a few moments after the unidentified gunmen invaded the town.
These gunmen reportedly broke into the house of one of the community members and per what we gathered, it was the man who raised an alarm for these suspected bandits to be confronted.
Per the report, an eyewitness said;
“I saw the corpses of two of the suspected bandits burnt beyond recognition and dumped at the Magama junction, but the third person, who was said to be in army uniform, was said to be taken away by the policemen.”
Days ago, there was a sad report about the death of an aide to the governor of Katsina State, Governor Masari.
It was revealed that he has slumped to his death. The aide identified as Alhaji Rabe Ibrahim Jibia is the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant on Security, Daura Zone, and per what we gathered, he slumped to his death at a wedding in Katsina State.
The incident reportedly happened on Saturday, March 27 at the wedding Fatiha of the daughter of the Special Adviser on Security matters to Governor Masari, Alhaji Ibrahim Katsina at Banu Commasie, GRA Katsina.
He was then rushed to the Government House Hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors
