Popular actress, Merit Gold Eberechi stirs mixed reactions as she criticizes Christians celebrating Davido’s wedding, despite his previous out-of-wedlock births.
She took to her Instagram page to draw the attention of netizens to the hypocrisy of some Christians.
It would be recalled that Davido and his wife Chioma had welcomed a son Ifeanyi in 2019, but lost him in 2022.
Months following the loss of their child, they had welcomed a set of twins, much to the jubilations of both the parents and fans.
The two held their wedding in Lagos and the event attracted significant media attention.
Actress, Merit Gold Eberechi opined that Christians were rejoicing over the wedding, even though they had welcomed three kids before their wedding.
She noted that the same Christians are the ones who wouldn’t hesitate to criticize that one individual in their congregation for fornicating.
