A Nigerian man recently took to social media to share a bizarre encounter involving a Wizkid fan.
In his post on X (formerly Twitter), the man narrated how the fan, during an argument, boldly declared that he could die for Wizkid and even kill anyone who disrespected the singer in a 30BG gathering.
The man explained that he had visited a bar and noticed a seemingly composed young man sitting alone. Impressed by his demeanor, he decided to buy the man a drink.
While the order was being processed, the young man became involved in a heated discussion with a group of four others.
In the midst of the argument, the young man passionately proclaimed his loyalty to Wizkid, saying, “I would die for Wizkid, and even if this were a 30BG gathering, I’d slaughter anyone who disrespects Wizkid.”
Hearing this, the man promptly changed his mind about his gesture. “I just took two more sips of my wine, quietly called the waitress, and told her to cancel the order. I tipped her, grabbed my keys, and left,” he wrote.
He concluded his post by saying he had been taken aback by the intensity of the fan’s declaration. His story sparked reactions from users on X, many of whom shared their thoughts on the matter.
