LOTUS Bank Gain Awards Of Recognition For Innovative Contribution To Nigeria’s Non-interest Banking Sector In Singapore—-As Nigeria’s fastest-growing non-interest bank, LOTUS Bank has received numerous honours for its creative contributions to the non-interest sector of the country’s banking sector.

 

At the recent Global Retail Banking Innovation Awards 2024 in Singapore, the bank received the Best Financial Inclusion Initiative and Debit Card of the Year honours. The bank also won the Businessday’s Banks and Other Financial Institutions Awards’ Ethical Banking Leadership Award of the Year (BAFI).

The Managing Director of Lotus Bank, Mrs. Kafilat Araoye, expressed delight in these accomplishments by saying: “We are honoured to receive these awards, which validate our efforts to make banking accessible for everyone. The Best Financial Inclusion Initiative Award recognised Lotus Bank’s creative strategy for expanding underprivileged areas’ access to banking services. The bank’s main debit card program has also received praise for its easy-to-use features, which are designed to provide customers more financial control.

According to Araoye, it was the card used to check athletes from all over Africa into the Nigeria Medical Students Association Games (NIMSA), which were recently sponsored by Lotus Bank, and the Federation of Africa Students Games (FASU).
