Kennedy-Ohanenye speaks out after dismissal, comments on Tinubu’s leadership

Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the recently dismissed Minister of Women Affairs, voiced her continued support for President Bola Tinubu, affirming his leadership as key to Nigeria’s progress despite her cabinet exit.

Following a recent reshuffle in which she and four other ministers were removed, Kennedy-Ohanenye expressed gratitude to the President for the chance to serve, calling it an “honor and privilege” to contribute to Nigeria’s development.

The cabinet shake-up also led to the dismissal of Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development; Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education; and Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development.

She wrote, “This is a test of time, a Highly Spiritual Movement that no Human being can stop.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is destined to fix Nigeria and I, Barr Uju Kennedy will fight alongside him to the last. Let’s be optimistic. Nigeria will be great!”

The president had also appointed seven new ministers and reassigned 10 to new portfolios.

The newly appointed ministers will be screened by the senate.
