TikTok sensation turned mainstream artiste, Crown Uzama aka Shallipopi, has revealed how he reacts when he gets message from fans talking about the impact of his music.
The singer said that whenever he hears people say that his music saved their lives, it often leaves him with a feeling of disbelief and surprise.
According to Shallipopi, the reason is because he knows his lyrics and wonders how things he says like ‘BTC dey body’ can inspire people or make their lives better.
Speaking during an episode of Zero Conditions podcast with Motolani, Melody and Excel, the Plutomania, however said that despite his reservations he cannot fault the belief that music affects people in different ways.
He said; “People go dey message me say ‘your music saved my life.’ Which music? Shey na ‘BTC dey body’ save your life or which one?’ But the thing is music can affect anybody anyhow”.
