Big Brother Naija star, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed that she is tired of dating Nigerian men.
The self-styled ‘Port Harcourt First Daughter’ made this known during an episode of Big Friday Show which she hosted on Cool FM Lagos.
Tacha claims that Nigerian men treat Nigerian women unfairly and she has now decided that when she is ready to date again it will be with a South African man.
She enquired from her guest on the show, Yvonne Godwin, who is dating fellow BBTitans reality star, Juicy Jay from South Africa, what it is like dating a South African.
Tacha: “How does it feel like dating a South African? I mean, for we, Nigerian girls that are already getting tired of Nigerian boys because we know what they do to us. What’s the treatment like dating a South African? I’m looking for South Africans now.”
Yvonne said: “I don’t see the country with him [Juicy Jay] because he is just different. He makes it easy. The fact that he tries to learn Nigerian lingo. He also tries Nigerian delicacies.
“He is very open-minded. He makes it [dating] so easy. He is very caring. He takes his time. People don’t take their time to know me but he really took his time to know me. And he loves me so much, I know that.”
In another news…
Controversial reality TV star, Tacha in an earlier chat with Chude Jideonwo dismissed speculations that she follows married men.
She clarified that she has never been in a romantic relationship with someone’s husband, and nobody can prove such allegations.
The former BBNaija housemate also boasted that her success is as a result of her hard work and can never be attributed to any man or sugar daddy.
She said; “There were rumours that I was sleeping with married men, but they can’t bring one married man because they know there’s none.
“I say it proudly, any day, anytime, anywhere, in my sleep, in my dream, everything I enjoy I worked hard for it. Not a lot of people can boast of that because we are in an industry where there people don’t want you to progress.”
