Nigerian entertainer, DJ Cuppy, has expressed joy over her recent appointment as King’s Trust International Ambassador to British monarch, King Charles III.
The British monarch appointed the Disc Jockey as a King’s Trust International Ambassador during a reception at Buckingham Palace on Friday, May 24, 2024.
DJ Cuppy expressed how proud she is over the appointment, and noted in a Twitter (X) post that she was honoured by the new role.
The billionaire heiress shared a picture on her page which captured her having a conversation with King Charles III at the royal ceremony.
Cuppy wrote on Twitter: “Honoured to have been invited for a special reception with his Majesty the King, at Buckingham palace. I am so proud to be a @KingsTrustInt Ambassador.”
CorrectNG reported earlier that King Charles III invited the Nigerian disc jockey to a reception at Buckingham Palace in celebration of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.
DJ Cuppy took to her official Twitter handle on Friday to share a copy of the invitation for the event which hosts a select group of world leaders, public personalities and celebrities.
Cuppy captioned it the image; “I’m off to Buckingham Palace.”
The invite reads; “The Master of The King’s Household is commanded by His Majesty to invite Ms Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola to a Reception to be given at Buckingham Palace by The King in celebration of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.”
