Nigerian celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has urged Nigerians, including his colleagues, not to flee if Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC summons them.
The socialite who was recently granted bail over alleged naira abuse, said operatives of the anti-graft agency don’t manhandle suspects in custody.
According to him, the EFCC only investigate and prosecute. Chief Priest also warned that the commission would always catch those who run away from invites or resist arrest regardless of where they hide.
Cubana Chief Priest stated this via his Instagram page as he praised the hospitality of the agency, one of which included serving him three-square meals in their cell.
Cubana Chief Priest wrote: “The Eagle will always fly so high to catch you wherever you hide. No need to run when @officialefcc invites you, just pull up and answer them, they don’t bite, they don’t beat, they only investigate and prosecute. For their cell, toilet & bathroom dey, even breakfast, lunch & dinner is served so tell me why are you running.”

CorrectNG recalls that street-hop singer and record label founder, Habeeb Okikiola known professionally as Portable, has claimed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is planning to arrest him over Naira abuse.
Portable, who disclosed that he currently not in the coutry, alleged in a video that the EFCC intends to send operatives to apprehend him once he arrives Nigeria.
But in the trending Instagram live session, Portale said he is now being targeted after online activist, Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan asked the agency to come after him for allegedly abusing the Naira.
He berated VeryDarkMan for ‘talking too much’ and wondered why he dropped his name with the anti-graft agency for prosecution.
Portable expressed disappointment that that after Nigerians begged for him to be released from detention he still has the guts to brag and keep criticising people online.
