Nigerian fashion entrepreneur, Maureen Esisi, has revealed that one of her goals is have a child before the end of the year 2024.
The socialite made this known while appearing on ‘The House Chronicles’ podcast hosted by Big Brother Titans ex-contestant, Miracle OP.
Maureen Esisi expressed regret over her failed marriage to actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, noting that those five years of her life were wasted.
The 36-year-old divorcee wished that she had kids, and said she would have given birth to at least two by now if she married someone else.
She emphasised that she must get pregnant thi year even though she does not know how it is going to happen.
Maureen said; “I regret marrying him [Blossom Chukwujekwu]. It was wasted years. Five years of my life, that’s a lot. I would have married somebody else and probably had two kids by now.
“I wished I had kids. Because trying to have kids now is just scary and annoying. I’m currently working on having kids. I don’t know how it’s going to happen but I must get pregnant this year.”
Meanwhile, CorrectNG recalls that Maureen also claimed that she and her estranged husband, Blossom Chukwujekwu are “technically” still married, despite him remarrying.
Their marriage crashed in 2019 and after three years, of their longstanding court and social media battle, Blossom married Pastor Ehinome in June 2022.
According to her, they were not officially divorced, as she didn’t sign any legal documents. She also accused the actors family of encouraging their separation against her choice.
The fashion designer said the separation happened long before it was disclosed to the public, and she was surprised that the same in-laws who often told her to stay were okay when Blossom said he wanted to leave the union.
Maureen said; “I would call his mum, she would give me reasons why we cannot divorce. She would say, ‘It [divorce] is not of the Lord. Don’t worry, he would get better.’ And then, magically, he said he was done. And the same you guys [in-laws] that were telling me every year to stay, how come your son comes up to you that he’s done and surprisingly, you throw God out of the way?
“My separation happened way before it became public. I’m not divorced by books. Technically, we are still married. When you say you’re divorced, it means you’ve signed papers, right?”
