Nollywood star, Caroline Hutchings formerly known as Caroline Danjuma, has opened up on how complex life became after divorce from her husband, Musa Danjuma.
Caroline said the divorce led to the loss of her dreams and identity. She recalled being a top actress, filmmaker, fashion consultant and owner of a range of brands, which she dumped after their split.
In a post on Instagram page, the screen diva explained how the split prompted her to start life from scratch because she faced discrimination and rejections.
She wrote; “I was once a promising makeup artist and hair gvru, actress, film producer and fashion consultant. CEO Luxury Add!ct, CEO Kinetic Media. But I lost my identity and dreams because of divorce.
“I walked away from it all for my own sanity. I started my journey from scratch facing all the fake rumors, discriminations, rejections and uncertainties at 29+ years.
“A conversation that women who have walked the same part hate to talk about. A bittersweet journey to a place unknown. This is my story”.

CorrectNG recalls that Caroline once said she would be open to reuniting with her ex-husband if the opportunity presents itself.
The thespian who said she can return to her ex or find another man to marry, noted that irreconciliable differences caused the divorce, and added that she wouldn’t have left her marriage if it happened now that she’s experienced.
Caroline said; “They were just some irreconcilable differences that if I was of this age and the experience I have now, I think I would have handled it better.
“He [Musa] would always be the love of my life. He is the father of my three children. He is the one I said, you know what? this man is worth being my husband. So, yes, he would always remain the love of my life and that would not change.
“I would love to marry again whether it’s my ex-husband or a new amazing man that God sent, I would want to have a family. Yes, I would love to go back to him [my ex-husband] or if God says, this is the man you are going to marry. I just want peace of mind and happiness.
As I get older, I just want someone that I can build with and I can have peace of mind with. Peace of mind is more valuable than money.”
