Rising Nigerian singer, Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, known professionally as Qing Madi, has revealed that she lost many followers because of her gospel advocacy.

The American Love crooner said she was preaching about Jesus Christ on social media when her followers began to unfollow, however, she did not regret her action.

Taking to Instagram, Madi wrote: “LOL. I lost a lot of followers for talking about Jesus Christ. And from the bottom of my heart, I don’t regret a thing. Luv y’all.”

CorrectNG recalls that few months ago, Qing Madi said her dream is to collaborate with music stars, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

She also mentioned Wande Coal, Simi and Fave as the other artistes, she would love to work it, hoping that it happens at a certain stage in her music career.

According to the teenaage songstress her favourite artistes are Victony and BNXN (formerly Buju), and they are the only ones she’s worked with.

Madi said; “The only artistes I have collaborated with are Victony and Bnxn. They are actually two of my favourite artistes. However, I would still love to collaborate with Wizkid, Fave, Wande Coal, Simi and Burna Boy. That is my dream, and I hope that I can achieve them at some point in my career.”

The ‘See Finish’ singer further talked about the having a legacy that will see her grow and get recognised on the international stage.

“I want to be a prosperous person, but I don’t want to limit myself by saying a bunch of words. I know that there will be a lot of work, as well as international recognition and growth.”

On how her music affects fans, Madi said; “I love the fact that I can impact some people’s lives by just saying the simplest words. And, I always use it for good. I engage with my fans, and they are usually so excited, which in-turn makes me happy. I love the power music gives to one to influence people’s lives.”
