Controversial Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie, has been disowned by a socio-cultural group, ‘Polygamous Movement of Nigeria’.
The group in a statement issued via Facebook by its General Secretary, Emmanuel Junior Emju, said Edochie is not a practising polygamous man but a wanderer.
PMoN urged all its members across the country to cease using the actor’s images to defend or promote him online, because he is no longer part of the ‘great family’.
The Polygamy association also warned that any member caught disobeying its instructions pertaining Yul Edochie will be duly penalised.
The statement reads; “We the African culture preservers of the polygamous movement of Nigeria, wish to notify the general public once again that Maazi Yul Edochie is not a practicing polygamous man, but a wanderer.
“Disregard any piece fronting him a polygamous man from any member of our great family. All our members are hereby advised to stop using the image of Yul for the promotion of our movement. Any member who defaults will highly be penalized…

It is interesting to note that the association used to heap praises on Yul after news broke that he had married a second wife.
