Hanks Anuku amazes Nigerians as he speaks Italian, French, Yoruba, others fluently (Video)

A recent discovery that Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku can speak seven indigenous and foreign languages fluently has left Nigerians in awe.

The movie star, who’s been battling some personal issues spoke Italian, French, Dutch, English, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa fluently while being interviewed by content creator, Lucky Udu.

He was asked where he grew up, given his accent and the actor said he moved around a different countries in Europe like Italy, France and UK, and also stayed in America for sometime.

“I grew up a lot back in the days in Europe, most especially England. I was more in England than in the States. Then other countries like Italy. I travelled a lot,” the actor explained.

Lucky then challenged him to say a few things in French, Italian, Dutch, Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa, all of which the screen actor did without struggle.

Meanwhile, in another part of the interview, Hanks Anuku has stated that contrary to general perception, he’s never engaged in the use of hard drugs in the past.

He revealed that he used to smoke but doesn’t do that anymore, stressing that he doesn’t engage in any activity that could temper with his mental health.

The 64-year-old thespian disclosed this in a chat with content creator, Lucky Udu, while reacting to a viral video that portrayed as one with mental health challenges.

Hanks declared categorically that he is not ‘mad’ and he may have taken alcohol during a time he battled depression after being betrayed by those close to him.

He said; “I am not a mad man… Some people say I was on hard drugs. I don’t do hard drugs. Back in the days I used to smoke but not anymore. I never went into anything hard drugs. I have self control.

There’s probably where I was depressed and had to have a little drink like beer or wine. That’s it. I don’t drink hard liquor. But I was just isolated because I never thought I would be betrayed by my own people. It hurt me so much.”
