In a report we have sighted on Linda Ikeji’s Blog, four students have been nabbed.

These students who are secondary school students are students of the Government Secondary School in Akim Qua Town, Calabar.

They were nabbed after their alleged involvement in cultism and other vices and as we speak, they are now with the anti-cultism unit of the Nigerian Police Force for interrogation.

They were reportedly arrested on the premises of the school after security agents had a hint about some disturbing trends they were engaged in which could have posed a serious threat.

The Special Adviser to Cross River State Governor on Education, Comrade Castro Ezama who spoke with reporters expressed his appreciation to the security agents for the timely intervention when contacted about the situation.

Addressing the students of the institution against all forms of criminality, he indicated that noted the State Governor, Ben Ayade has zero-tolerance for cultism, drug abuse, and other social vices, and as such, he has directed the affected students to present their parents for an emergency meeting with the leadership of the school and security agents for onward clarifications.
