The Ramadan fasting is already underway and video which surfaced online sparked mixed reactions after it went viral.

On Monday, April 12, Muslims began their fasting in the holy month abstaining from both food and drink from dawn to sunset.

Players in a Turkish football match were filmed in the video making rounds online breaking their fast for the Ramadan on the pitch after a break in play on Tuesday evening, April 13. They were seen eating to break their fast after hearing the evening call to prayer at sunset. Some of them were spotted eating bananas, meanwhile goalkeeper Metin Uçar was drinking water.
