A controversial Twitter influencer identified as Ruth, has called out Nigerian singer, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare professionally known as Jaywon for releasing a new album.
She was furious with the musician for dropping a new project ‘Evergreen’ amid the #EndBadGovernance protests happening across states in Nigeria.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Ruth compared Jaywon’s action with that of female singer, Tems, who postponed the release of her music video as the protests began.
She gave the ‘This Year’ crooner 24 hours ultimatum to take down his album from all streaming or he will be canceled in the industry.
She wrote; “Due to #EndBadGovernaceInNigeria, Tems canceled dropping her video na Jaywon get mind drop Evergreen album because e no send us or what ? Jaywon has 24hours to remove the album on all platforms or we cancel him.”
