Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has issued a warning to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, stressing the necessity of a robust summer transfer window if the Red Devils aim to contend for the Premier League title next season.
With a top-four finish all but out of reach, United faces a tough battle to secure any form of European football this season. Ten Hag is also striving to prevent the team from enduring its lowest Premier League standing ever, currently seventh since the 2013/14 season.
Attributing the team’s struggles partly to injuries, Ten Hag emphasized that the squad’s current strength isn’t sufficient for title contention.
