Mali’s Prime Minister hosts Nigerian man riding bike from London to Lagos



Mali’s Prime Minister, Choguel Kokalla Maïga has hosted Kunle Adeyanju, a Nigerian adventurer who is riding a motorbike from London, UK to Lagos Nigeria.

Adeyanju revealed on Saturday that he was hosted by the Malian leader at the VIP Salon of Bamako International Conference Centre.

He embarked on the journey on 19th of April, 2022 and said that the trip he is expected to round up the trip in 25 days.

According to the biker, Maïga welcomed him during a ceremony held in honour of late Malian Stateman, Mamadou Konate, who is also the first Black African Vice President of the France National Assembly.

He shared a photo with the Prime Minister on microblogging site, Twitter, on Saturday and wrote;

”I was hosted today Saturday May the 14th 2022, by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mali, His Excellency Choguel Kokalla Maïga at the Bamako International Conference Centre.

Where his excellency was presiding over the commemorative ceremony of late Mamadou Konate, a Malian Stateman, and the first Black African to sit as the Vice President of the France National Assembly.

The news of my experiences in Mail came to the attention of the His Excellency the Prime Minister, and he requested I visit him, which was a further demonstration of the good nature and great hospitality of the good people of Mali.

His Excellency, the Prime Minister in spite his busy schedule, received me at the VIP salon of the Bamako International Conference Centre.

Where we exchanged pleasantries and I had the opportunity to share the objectives of my charity mission and experiences on the ride so far, and particularly my experiences with the hospitality, generosity, and the good nature of the good people of Mali.”
