Mavin Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh aka Don Jazzy has moved on from the shade that music superstar, Wizkid threw at him.
Jazzy took to his official Twitter page on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, to announce the release date for his signee, Ayra Starr’s second studio album.
He revealed that the sophomore album titled ‘TYIAT21’ will drop in May 2024, but he did not give details about the exact date and time.
The producer who described Ayra Starr as his superstar daughter, shared a cover image of the project and wrote; “Incoming #TYIT21 the album by @ayrastarr”
Don Baba J also shared a video and captioned; “The sophomore album of my superstarr daughter @ayrastarr drops in May. #Mavin ???? ⭐️ ????????”

Meanwhile, it may be recalled that in April, Ayodeji Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, shaded the music executive following a comment from his signee, Ladipoe.
The rapper Ladipoe, who is to Don Jazzy’s record label, had taken to his Twitter account to revisit Wizkid’s controversial “hip hop is dead” statement and mock him for it.
His controversial tweet came weeks after Wiz said he is not an Afrobeats artiste and urged the public not to categorise him under the genre.
Ladipoe wrote; “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own”.
A fan @miracledc12 called Wizkid’s attention to the shade on Monday morning but the Starboy boss rubbished both Jazzy and Ladipoe in a single tweet.
“Wizkid Ladipo still talk nonsense yesterday o, Abeg enter that one too????????????,” Miracle wrote.
The Grammy winner said he will never chat with the rapper because he is signed to a music label (Mavin Records) which is run by an influencer.
“lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next,” the Starboy Entertainment founder tweeted on Monday, April 29.
