Davido Gets His Own Currency Named ‘E Choke Currency’ Created By Nigerian Artist

Fans of popular Nigerian singer, Davido have moved his popular slang echoke to another level as it has become a household anthem that everyone uses and have created a currency out of it.

A young Nigerian artiste identified on Facebook as Sheddy Art has designed a currency with his picture in the middle with the slang boldly captioned on it. This is to honour his legacy and his ambassadorial deal with Martell Nigeria.

The caption reads;

“Biggest artist in AFRICA. @davido. Check out this artwork I did. Papa Ifeanyi. Big Love. CONGRATULATIONS @davido on your latest win @martellnigeria Ambassador. E Choke”.

If readers will recall, Davido mentioned that the rate at which people are using the slang in their daily conversations and on social media is getting out of hand hence, he needs to own it to ensure it is credited to his name at all times.
