Afrobeats singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, professionally referred to as Davido lost a ring worth $60k at a recent concert in the United Arab Emirates.
This was made known by the ‘Champion Sound’ crooner while he was performing on stage in Dubai. He informed attendees of the show about his missing piece of jewelry and asked whomever took it to return the object.
A video which surfaced on social media shows Davido saying; ‘I lost my ring, give me my ring’, he then switched to Yoruba to stress the importance.
Shortly after, the singer stretched his hand to collect an item from someone in the upper crowd section, but it wasn’t confirmed if it was the lost ring.
Immediately after the brief exchange, Davido continued his performance without giving an update as to whether he had retrieved the ring.
Nevertheless, the overtly excited fans did not seem disturbed as they continued to dance, vibe and sing along to the DMW’s songs.
