Corp Members React As FG Begins Payment Of N33,000 Allowance

The Federal Government of Nigeria has finally lived up to its promise of increasing the allowances of serving Corp members in the country from N19,800 to N33,000. 

This is coming on the back of the assurance made by the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, who confirmed during a visit to the NYSC Bauchi State Secretariat that the Federal Government in line with the new National Minimum Wage has approved N33,000 allowance for Corps members.

Since the announcement made, social media has been rife with seemingly doctored images showing varying spurious credit alerts in a bid to heighten the hopes of youth corp members in the country.

However, Allnews.ng can confirm that corp members have indeed started receiving payments in line with the new directive. 

Following this confirmation, elated corp members took to social media platforms to express delight over the development.
