Tunde Onakoya, a Nigerian chess experts who smashed the previous Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon, received a royal welcome from his compatriots at the airport.
On Saturday, the founder of Chess In Slums Africa broke a new record of 60 hours of playtime in New York’s Times Square, which is still receiving confirmation from GWR.
In a viral video, a cultural group was seen serenading Tunde when he arrived at the international airport in Lagos state.
The plane team and airport staff marveled and took photos as they presented him with a bunch of flowers, accompanied by the band’s singing and dancing.
