The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Friday called on the international community to tell President Muhammadu Buhari to obey the rule of law.

The party made the call during a protest led by its national chairman, Uche Secondus, and members of the National Working Committee to the United Kingdom and the United States embassies in Abuja.

Secondus said, “On behalf of the PDP and the masses, we call on the international community to come to the assistance of our dear country.

“The content of our letter is for the international community to advise our government to obey the rule of law, particularly as it relates to the National Assembly and judiciary.”

The party also said that it was in support of calls by Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abaribe, and other Nigerians for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari over the rising spate of insecurity.
